OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CHAMPAGNE POP BUBBLE DROP
- The Cheers for Children Champagne Pop Bubble Drop (“Bubble Drop”) is a game of chance; it is presented by and all net proceeds benefit St. Lillian Academy (“Presenter”), PO Box 45377, Baton Rouge, LA 70895 (Physical Address: 9755 Goodwood Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70815). Sponsor is a registered 501(c)(3).
- Bubble Drop “bubbles” are represented by golf balls.
- The Bubble Drop is open to any persons, unless noted otherwise. Any person involved with the fabrication and execution of the bubble drop props and course are not eligible to win a prize. Any person receiving money for the sale of tickets is not eligible to win a prize. Any person participating in assigning numbers to entries is not eligible to win a prize. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Presenter, which are binding and final on matters relating to this game of chance. All federal, state and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. Bubble purchases are not tax deductible.
- To enter, entrants must purchase a chance (“bubble”) at $25 each, $100 for 5, or $200 for 15 online (at www.stlllian.org) or via mail by form available from Presenter. Online entries must be received by 9:00 AM April 20, 2021. Bubble sales may be suspended at any time by the Presenter. Completed form and payment may be mailed to St. Lillian Academy, PO Box 45377, Baton Rouge, LA 70895 and must be received by April 20, 2021 to be considered eligible. Online entries will be terminated at the time of the designated deadline. Entries received in the mail after the deadline will not be entered into the bubble drop. Any check received after the deadline will be returned.
- Entry bubbles will be “poured” downhill at the home of Chanler Holden Mittendorf and Major Mittendorf on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in Baton Rouge, LA. Date and location are subject to change without notice. No attempt to free or interfere with any bubble will be permitted, unless deemed necessary by Presenter. Presenter reserves the right to manually maneuver bubbles along the course and terminate the bubble drop, or run alternative randomized “pours” if mechanical complications occur with the “track”. In the event that the “pour” is terminated, the Presenter will determine the winners by random selection. Only bubbles provided by Presenter will be entered, and all bubbles remain the property of Presenter.
- Prizes will be awarded in order to eligible entrants, as name appears on entry form or online entry, whose randomly assigned entry number corresponds with number of the first (4) bubbles in order of finish at the targets. There are two (2) separate targets. One (1) target designated for the Grand Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize. One (1) target designated for Fourth Prize.
- Grand Prize: Cash – Value $2,500
- Second Prize: Cash – Value $1,500
- Third Prize: Cash – Value $1,000
- Fourth Prize: Year’s supply at Community Coffee. One year of free coffee (Two 12 oz Ground Roast Bags/Month for one year or Two 12 Count Single Serve Boxes/Month for one year). Winner will be contacted by Community Coffee to coordinate shipping and coffee blend/format requests to ensure the winner receives the coffee of their choice and format type (Ground Roast or Single Serve).
- Winners will be announced on Facebook Live Saturday, April 24, 2021. Entrants will, where necessary, also be notified by United States mail, email or by telephone. Winners need not be present to win. Cash prizes and Coffee Award will be available to the winners on and after May 3, 2021. A list of winners can be obtained from the Presenter by sending a written request and a self-addressed, stamped return envelope to the Presenter at the address listed in paragraph four above. If any winner does not claim his or her prize from the Presenter at the physical address listed in paragraph one above by Thursday, May 20, 2021, or if the winner is deemed ineligible to win, the presenter will identify the next bubble in the order of finish during the official bubble drop.
- Each winner has sole responsibility for paying any and all taxes and similar fees on any prize(s) won and must authorize the deduction of such taxes, if any, from the prize(s) to the extent required by law. No cash equivalent prizes will be provided in lieu of the designated prizes.
- By entering, entrants release the Presenter and its members, directors, agents, employees, and other related entities from any and all liability with respect to prizes.
- By entering, winners consent to promotional use of their names and likeness without additional compensation.
- Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries.
- This event is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
- If the Presenter determines, in its sole discretion, that the event cannot occur at the scheduled time for any reason, then the Presenter can postpone the event to another date and time by public announcement thereof, or Presenter reserves the right to select winners in a random drawing from among entries received.
- Except as specified below, all logos are registered trademarks of Presenter and use is prohibited without Presenter’s express written consent.
